Yo Yo Crib Mobile

I love this idea of making your own crib mobile out of fabric yo yo's. My friend Lexi at That's Sew Lexi made this super cute one for our friend Sarah. She used Amy Butler fabrics, and I love the different sizes of the yo yo's. You can follow a tutorial on how to make one here at Cherished Bliss.

Yo Yo Necklace

Just finished making this Yo Yo necklace that will soon be for sale in my Etsy shop. Working on some other fun things, but just wanted to give a little preview of what's to come.

Yo Yo Necklace

I did a post a while back about making a fabric yo yo, and I have made some earrings and hair clips that I posted to my etsy page. However, I have been wanting to make a yo yo necklace for a while now, and just now got around to it! I've seen some around in stores and online, but wasn't sure quite how to put one together. I found a tutorial here by Hideous! Dreadful! Stinky! Now that I have made one, I would love to make more. We'll see when I get around to it...

Yo Yo Earrings

I had some more fun with the yo yos today, and decided to make tiny ones for earrings. I think they turned out pretty cute! All I did was use a smaller circle for the pattern (about 1 to 1/12") and glued a gem in the center, then glued the earring onto the back.

Fabric Yo Yo

After shopping in downtown Mesa today I was feeling a little crafty. There's a lot you can do with all the fabric flowers and yo yos, so I thought I should learn how to make some.
