Mommy and Me Class at As You Wish Pottery

USA Gymnastics in Gilbert

12 to 2pm

Cost: $5 per child for groups with 6 or more kids (potty trained)

Gather your friends and eat your lunch at a reserved table while the kids play

or go out to lunch while the kids play.

Anthropologie Craft Time

The Anthropologie located at Dana Park, in Mesa AZ offers a craft time for kids on Wednesdays from 10am to 12pm. Giving you some time to shop in the store without having to entertain your little one. I haven't taken Hudson to the craft time yet, but plan to check it out sometime soon. I am not sure if other locations offer this craft time as well.

BLISSFEST

Domestic Bliss is hosting their annual event on November 6th from 6 to 10pm. Lots to see and lots of cute things to buy! If you've never been to Domestic Bliss, it is a boutique located in downtown Mesa on Main Street and Robson. They have so much cute stuff, very similar style to Anthropologie, you have to check it out! They sell home furnishings and decor, clothing, jewelry, baby and kids items, and they have an awesome selection of fabrics (including Heather Bailey and Amy Butler).

Day of Play

Tumbleweed Park is having a Day of Play on Saturday, October 17th from 9am to 12noon. I have never been to this before, so I don't know what is is like. But it's free and they will have kids activities!

Splash Pad

The Tempe Town Lake Splash Pad opened for the season yesterday. If your looking for a free fun activity to do with your kids this summer, this one will keep them cool. I took Hudson to the splash pad at the zoo the other day and I don't know if he is quite ready for it! Maybe we'll give it another try. Open 10am to 7pm. For more information call (480) 350-8625.

Free Movie in the Park

Kiwanis Park is playing movies for the whole family every Friday night. You can bring a blanket, snacks or dinner, and enjoy the movie! Movies begin at dusk (approximately 7:00 p.m.) and will be shown by the fire pit on the west side of Kiwanis Lake. Call 480-350-5200 for more information.

Starting April 1^st 2009 through March 31st 2010, library cardholders can check out a Culture Pass for FREE admission for up to four people at participating arts and cultural institutions listed below. The pass is valid for 7 days from the time of check-out. Passes will be available on a first-come first-served basis, and can only be used once during the 7 days.
