Hudson's Robot Party
homemade play dough and put star shaped confetti and star cookie cutters on the table with it. I also had a table with foam shaped stickers, crayons, markers, and card stock for the kids to color and make robots with the shapes. I painted and cut holes in boxes to make robot bodies for the kids and adults to dress up in. Then taped polka dot wrapping paper on the wall for pictures to be taken in front of. We had a rocket tent out back for the kids, a water table, fun music, and other toys. The party bags had glow sticks, a small tin of "nuts and bolts", a wind up robot, robot tattoos, and stretchy robots. It was a fun day!

Thanks so much for sharing your party ideas.ReplyDelete
Just stumbled on this. What a great party! I am doing a robot party for my son and would love to have the kids decorate the box "costumes" like you did. Can I ask what size boxes you used?ReplyDelete
We got most of our boxes from Starbucks. So I tried to have a variety of sizes so some adults could fit into the boxes too. However, I am unsure of the exact measurements of the boxes. You may be able to see if starbucks or another store can save some of their boxes for you after they unpack a new shipment. That's what we did. Hope that helps, have a fun party :)
I am loving all the different birthday parties that are on the linky parties! Yours is too cute!ReplyDelete
I am also in the middle of planning a birthday party for my little one (minniemousebirthday.blogspot.com), so I know how much effort it takes to put together a party like this. Looks great!
Great cupcakes! They are so cute! I love their blue "ears"! : )ReplyDelete
