Cocktails and Cupcakes Bridal Shower
Here is my beautiful sister Wesley!
She is getting married in about one month and I am so excited for her and Kyle. We had a lot of fun celebrating her the other night and I wanted to share some of the pictures. The pictures were taken by Andrea of Limeflower Studio. Thanks so much Andrea for capturing the night for us!
The Bridal Shower was an evening shower, for cocktails, cupcakes, and other desserts. All the girls came dressed in their best and looked awesome!
Fun dessert table decorated with balloons, tissue poms, streamers, glitter cupcake wrappers, party bead necklaces, rhinestone confetti, candles, and party hats.
Yummy Mudslide Punch
We played the toilet paper wedding dress game. You divide into groups of about 4-5 girls and each group is given about 3 rolls of toilet paper to make a wedding dress. Each group must pick one girl in the group to model the dress. Everyone got pretty creative and had a lot of fun with it!
The Bride-to-be gets to choose the winner.
The other game we played was the Bridal Shower Trivia Game. I video taped Kyle (the Groom) answering 13 questions about Wesley (the Bride). Then at the shower you give the guests the questions to try to answer. Once everyone is done filling out their answers you play the video, but have the bride answer the questions before playing the grooms answer. It was another fun game that got lots of laughs! Whoever answers the most questions correctly wins a prize.
It was a great night, and loved celebrating my little sister... Next up Bachelorette Party!!!
Love you Wes!

Teal Sprinkle Rimmed Glasses
We celebrated my sister last night at her Bridal Shower, and we had a lot of fun! Our friend Andrea from Lime Flower Studio took lots of pictures of the evening, and I can't wait to share them! These were the only pictures I took yesterday and thought I would share them. My sister's wedding colors are teal and silver, so I rimmed some glasses in teal sprinkles for a mudslide punch! I also rimmed some others in silver sanding sugar for the Coconut Mojitos. My sister-in-law made the mudslide punch and I plan to share the recipe soon. They were really yummy!
Just two simple steps to make these:
Step one: Dip the rim of the glass in melted white chocolate almond bark.
Step two: Dip the white chocolate into the sprinkles until covered.
The teal sprinkles are from Sweet Estelle's Etsy Shop and the grey striped paper straws are from my Etsy shop here. I would love to have an assortment of sprinkles in my shop, so fun! And these were the perfect color for the shower!

DIY Glitter Frame
I made this frame for my sister's bridal shower coming up. It is a cocktails and cupcakes shower with lots of shiny, sparkly, glittery decorations! Can't wait to celebrate with her and all the girls!
I bought the old frame for $0.75 at Goodwill and used some silver spray paint I already had. The tacky spray and glitter I bought at hobby lobby on sale and with coupons and I have lots leftover for more fun projects. The printable in the frame I found at Salt & Paper, an adorable online store with all kinds of printable art and stationary. You can find the Keep Calm printable HERE, for free! You can even customize the color of the printable from many selections before downloading.

Tara's Bridal Shower
This past weekend we celebrated with my brother's fiance, Tara. We had a bridal shower and bachelorette party. It was a lot of fun to spend the day celebrating with her and be able to meet all of her friends and family. I made the cake for her shower, and had a lot of fun making it. It only needed to serve 25 to 30 people, but I ended up making enough cake for about 90! I just wanted to make it three tiered, so there were lots of leftovers. The color of their wedding is the purple color i used on the cake and they are having orchids in the wedding. Tara made a wonderful suggestion for the cake flavor and filling (that I believe they are having as their wedding cake). I made white cake with a lemon mousse and raspberry preserve. It was a really good combination of flavors!
At the shower they had a champagne bar, where you could make your own champagne drinks. They had champagne flutes out, with different recipes to follow. This was such a cute idea! They had all different mixers; orange juice, a peach puree, strawberry mixer, pomegranate juice, pineapple juice, and other fun things to add.
